We reach refugees with information about their rights in Europe and the Middle East

Every day we answer questions from refugees about shelter, healthcare, education, employment and protection

Volunteer with us

We link refugees and migrants, our clients, to services in the country where they live. We collect the information our clients want to know and we run information campaigns.

Our Facebook page operates as a platform for refugees and migrants to request and receive information about their rights and their choices about asylum, housing, healthcare or education.

We undertake casework both directly and online and conduct research to provide information, both requested by refugees and provided by official sources, about choices in Europe.

We are passionate about establishing and sustaining links with local organisations and communities in the countries in which we operate, to ensure that information is shared as widely as possible.

We aim to bridge the substantial gaps that exist on the ground by distributing translated documentation and links to information so our clients can make informed choices about their future.

Our Clients

Our clients are mainly citizens of Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Kurdistan, Pakistan, Eritrea and Sudan, speaking Arabic, Farsi, Pashto, Urdu, Tigrinya, Kurmanji, Sorani, English and French. They live in uncertainty, and sometimes, in destitution.

Turkey

Lebanon

Italy

France

United Kingdom (UK)

About Us

Asylum Links is a voluntary organisation which seeks to increase and improve access to information about asylum, housing, livelihoods and healthcare in Europe and the Middle East, through the sharing of information with migrants, asylum seekers and refugees in camps and urban areas.

We piloted a program offering asylum information in the Calais Jungle in May 2016. We directly distributed information to an estimated 18,000 people throughout northern Greece and Athens region. For more than a year now we have been working with people seeking protection in Greece, France, Serbia and the UK. In October 2017 we are starting in Iraqi Kurdistan and Italy.

We are constantly looking for volunteers who have some time to join our group. Even two hours per week, from wherever you are, would make a big difference for our clients. If you have more time you can come in and help us to coordinate this growing organisation.

Please refer to this introductory document about our work and contact us at facebook.com/asylumlinks , contact the m.me/asylumlinks on Messenger. Or write us an email at recruitment@asylumlinks.eu
